Organising and facilitating school retreats and reflection days is one of the main ministries of Catholic Youth Services (CYS). Activities and reflection days ranging from a couple of hours to full day and overnight retreats are available.The Mission Team, aged 18 to 30, have the experience and training necessary to reach young people using a range of dynamic mediums.  A typical program integrates games, interactive activities, multimedia, talks and testimonies to give the variety necessary to hold the attention of young people.

In 2011 Catholic Youth Services entered into a partnership with NET Ministries.  All our Mission team members will receive 6 weeks intensive formation and training from NET Ministries in Jan/Feb with other young people serving on teams throughout Australia and then the CYS NET Mission team will be available to you for all your school reflection day and retreat needs. The team is fully approved and supported by the Catholic Education Office Sydney (CEO). Eastern Region CEO Representative Chris Hopkins says that “members of the Mission Team are faithfully living out the mission of the Church by giving young people an opportunity to encounter a relationship with Jesus.”
