What is a Mission Team?

A Mission team is made up of young people from various walks of life who volunteer a year of their life to serving other young people. The team ranges in age from 18 to 30 years and are given formation and training at the beginning of the year.

What does a Mission Team do?

As a team, their role includes facilitating retreats at Catholic schools from Year 6 to Year 12 students, using a variety of methods to engage students and encourage faith development in their lives. The Team also assists the CYS staff in conducting youth camps, events and other youth ministry initiatives.
